First Day Covers and postcards

Artefacts
In the 1970s and 1980s the Society commissioned a number of commemorative items as follows.

1967 Medallion to commemorate the closure of Baggeridge Colliery

1969 Medallion to commemorate 1769 to 1969 Canals and motorways

1972 Medallion to commemorate 150th anniversary of sailing of SS Aaron Manby

1976 Medallion to commemorate 200th anniversary of Bloomfield Colliery Engine

1979 Goblet produced for the Society to mark the 150th Anniversary of the running of the Stourbridge Lion in the USA

1980 Medallion to commemorate the closure of Blast Furnace "Elizabeth" at Bilston in 1976
