We’re delighted that the Society bookshop, which had temporarily shut following Keith Robinson’s relocation to Yorkshire and the need to find someone to take over its day-to-day running, is now open once more. We’ve books on the region’s pubs and breweries, our canals, our food, and our humour; books on characters like Tommy Mundon and the Tipton Slasher; books on the fascinating history of specific localities, and on Black Country footballers who played for England; books aboutcontemporary Black Country figures, and much, much more.
These books are the perfect present – whether it’s a treat to yourself, a gift for friends or family, or a way of sharing your passion for our part of the world with people who really need to know more about it! Whatever your interest, there’s a book there for you – and to celebrate the bookshop re- opening, we’ve some very special discounts and offers, meaning you can pick up some great reading without breaking the bank.
You’ll find the online shop here [https://www.blackcountrysociety.com/shop}. Happy shopping!
